Snack Cake Thread.
Issue #1: Zinger v. Twinkie.
Zinger.
My whole childhood I would have voted for Twinkie. But I just ate 3 Zingers, and they were very good. No golden brown goodness of the Twinkie "crust", but still good.

I'll take Zingers over Twinkies, but Swiss Cake Rolls (Swiss Keg Rolls) beat Zingers. Nutty Bars rule all.

OT.
However, Nutty Bars are quite good since you can eat them as a meal due to the peanut butter as protein factor. However, chocodiles are a close second.

What about granola bars? Do those count? Star Crunches are good too.

Granola bars, while good, are NOT snack cakes. Star Crunches are a bit weird to me for some reason.

Why are they not snack cakes? Because they aren't a cake? Star Crunches aren't a cake either.

If we are accepting bars, then Kudos are pretty good.
You mentioned rice crispie treats, those are good.
Moon Pies are good on rare occasion too.
