Indoor electric grills

I'm sure many of you have had an indoor electric grill like the George Foreman grill. I recieved an Emerilware Grill & Panini Maker for Christmas and I would just like to say it works great.

If you like Panini's, this grill makes them just the way they should be. It also cooks hamburgers and chicken perfectly. Also, the cleaning is a lot easier than the Foreman grill. Just unplug the electrical units (just pull them out) the grill is then in two pieces that you either put in the sink to clean or in the dishwasher.

If you're looking to buy an indoor grill, I highly recommend this one.

Good to know; thanks. I've been thinking about getting into paninis more. May have to check that one out.

I like the foreman grill - i have the one where the plates detach from the unit which makes it a lot easier to clean

don't use it all that often anymore given the ability to just throw something on the gas grill about anytime I want - but sometimes it comes through when I need it

yeah - I have a foreman grill that I can use indoors - however, with really no weather concerns it's no problem to just fire up the gas grill that I have outside - runs on propane, pretty standard

I also have a charcoal fueled bullet style smoker - i only use this 1 to 2x a month right now - cleanup and prep are more involved, also the cooks tend to take longer (pending what we are making)

For those of you with Foreman's, do you have any tips on cleaning it?

I would use mine more, but the cooked on meat-drippings are a bear to clean with a dobie pad.

Dont get yer paninis in a bunch!

I use a Le Creuset grill pan over my gas range. Screw the machine, no room to store it, but need something as I have no outdoor space for grilling! GO MANHATTAN!
