How do you deal with this??

Somebody just brought in blood sausage...that their wife made or something. He's like a good friend of mine....so I trusted him when he said it was good despite the awful name.

I bit into that baby, and let's just say my Taste Buds ran off my tongue and since have committed suicide.

OMG....I may never eat again!!

What do I do when he asks me how it is?? I certainly don't want to say "good", cuz then he'll say there is plenty more where that came from. Should I just tell him that it was terrible?? Or should I just end the friendship??

Tell him it was interesting and very rich. Leave it alone.

I was trying to be a bit more subtle, but doing this would probably have the same result.
