Gormet pierogies?

There is this place I saw on Sonoran Living Live that talked about this place in the Phoenix area that served gormet pierogies. My wife is a dirty polock and she'd love me to take her to that place.

Anyone know of such a place?

I don't know if it counts as gormet, but I think the place might be around 24th St and McDowell.

I don't think they're called pierogies, some other Russian term, but I hear Haifa on 12th and Glendale (Northern?) has very good Russian steamed dumplings.

I can send you my pierogie recipe if you want. Your wife might like that, too.

i wouldn't call them gourmet, but the "Taste of European Cafe" in downtown glendale has very good polish / eatern european food. They are ran by polish immigrants. Three different types of pierogie, all incredibly good. The owners are great and provide a tremendous atmosphere. All the food is top notch. One of my favorite places out here.
