As I was licking out the batter bowl after making pound cake the other day, it occurred to me that whoever decided to ruin perfectly good cake and cookie batter by heating it deserves a special rung of hell -- but then again, crunchy edges...

OK, fine -- how about Potatoes au Gratin. Sure, the soft inner parts are lovely, but man, the crunchy edges! Same with Mac and cheese. Peach COBBLER -- that NEVER cooks perfectly in the center. CORNBREAD with those crusty edges. Rolls. All kinds of uses. Just talked myself into it.

Definitely have some good ones in that list. Peach cobbler, for sure.
Yeah, but they market it mainly on the crunchy edges angle. THEN they point out the even cooking will make a lot of things simpler to bake. I ordered one, so once I've tried it out I shall report back.
