The beauty of sausage? it knows its place. It's well aware it takes bacon to effin town in a good country gravy, but it would never, in a million years try to step on bacons feet with some BS SLT sandwich. I respect sausage for its intelligence, and because it knows, side by side, naked on a plate, bacon takes it down, every. single. time. (Unless its crispy, then sausage rules)

Yes bacon can be a delight in the right light, but it's not nearly as flexible as the intelligent and mighty sausage. Nothing calls out to be devoured quite like a hot and juicy brat wrapped in condiments while glistening between a set of tight buns. Nothing elevates a pizza to near mythical status like the flavor of a torrid specimen of sausage as it nestles comfortably next to a tangy piece of onion. Nothing sizzles the senses quite like the fiery explosion of the Andouille sausage lurking within a powerfully ardent gumbo. And yet, nothing can comfort a child like the simple texture and ease of a loveable hot dog.
Just finished it. Not too bad (sausage was a little spicy--that's why I don't usually eat it). Would never be my first choice for breakfast, however.
I had a ephinany.. whatever.. How can this be? It seems like bland taste buds are at work here.. Sausage is spicy? I feel like you just wanna choke down food for the sake of keeping you alive.. And it coinsides with using words the dictionary that was told by people that want you stay in line and never reform, or think out the box..
