Never said it was gourmet, but a good change from McDonald's, etc.

Dunno, guess I never had a bad experience. I'm not saying it's Ruth's Chris, but for $8 I can get about 5 pounds of three different pastas.  |

Yes, you are spoiled. Had a good friend in college whose Grandma was born in Italy - now that was some good Italian. I learned very quickly to make sure I was very hungry before going over to their house, because she insisted on feeding me, regardless of the time of day, or whether I was hungry or not. My friend told me Italians think it is rude to NOT eat

Fazoli's = yummy. Anytime I can get fast food that doesn't come on a bun or a tortilla & tastes better than said burger or taco, I'm happy.

but it's 5 lbs of crappy pasta. i understand the whole "it's fast food" thing, but i don't care. no one should ever settle for sub-par italian food, no matter how fast it's thrown at you.
