California Pizza Kitchen

I have avoided this place like the plague because the Jersey in me just couldn't fathom going to a restaurant that had the words "California" and "Pizza" in the name.

News flash ... I actually like the place. The pita and hummus was fabulous and the pizza I got was pretty good. And, I really like the policy they have of, if you don't like the pizza you order, you can get a new one.

Anyway, just sharing.

I think grilled cheese and mac and cheese should be on all adult menus as well as kids menus. It's just fair.

I love CPK's frozen pizza. It honestly is the best darn frozen pizza out there.

Not a big fan of the pizza, but the salads are not bad. Warm bread and butter is also good.

They have a CPK at the Biltmore right next to Cheesecake Factory. They have one also at Desert Ridge.

I like their pizza.

I felt the same way, Wendy; I'm a traditionalist when it comes to pizza. One day I tried their pear and gorgonzola pizza - it was fabulous!

They must put crack in that mac'n cheese. I pretty much do the same thing with my son's mac'n cheese. When my dad is in town, we usually have fights over who gets to clean Milo's plate.
