I might get in on this...I was sticking around 195 and feeling good...I played basketball for 2.5 hours three times a week, but then I disclocated my shoulder for the third time in 6 years, and now can't play anymore until it heals, or I get surgery and that heals.
So that happened in mid-December, and I havent' done a thing since, and now I feel like I've already jumped a belt size.
I am thinking I'd get on Atkins again, but one of the great things about playing hoops was being able to eat mostly what I wanted, and not gain anything.
Anyone know if a stationary bike is a good thing to do? It's hard to get up, and go jogging cause I get bored out of my mind, but if I had a book or TV to watch, I think I could ride the bike in the mornings.

I think ye just answered yer own question. In short - whatever it takes! From my understanding - good cardio is one of the keys to losing weight. At least thats what Dr. Phill says....even though he looks like he should read his own book!
I started my work out program today - I bent over and tied my shoes instead of wearing loafers. And I pushed down the button on the toaster instead of using plain bread.
I started my work out yesterday and today my legs feel like they have weights on em. Am not going to change my diet much. Just plan on leaving the snack food alone.
