Bleh.. gained .5 lbs from last Wednesday.

It's THAT time of the month so I wasn't expecting a loss - stupid water retention and bloating!

Overall loss: 4.5 lbs

Congratulations on 6 - it's hard work! Feeling good?

I haven't gotten on a scale in almost 10 years - I'm just going by how difficult/easy it is to button my favorite jeans and purple cords! They're supposed to hang - right now they sit.
Feeling great. I keep my belt from last year when I lost alot of weight. I moved 3 notches in my belt and then had t o punch 2 more holes in it. Next week, I'll be ready to punch my 3rd hole in the belt!.

I am getting compliments left and right, it feels good. Now that I have dropped the weight of a newborn human child 9 lbs.

I guess my perceived weight gain during Super Bowl was simply water weight from the 18 pack of beer I drank

Total down 5.6 NET POUNDS in 4 weeks.......

Net pounds = Total pounds muscle gain - pounds fat lost.

I got my old shoulda-me pads coming through now! Gotta love the traps!

WOW! I can really feel it now! I just shot my first sub 80 round of 18 hole golf in my life on Sunday. I used to get so tired by the back 9 that I would start playing really bad, but I had the stamina to finish strong.

Down 10 LBS and about 2 inches now.

You guys might hate me but I have gotten back in the gym but my goal is to gain 5-10 pounds.

I stopped working out for about 3 months but I have a very high metabolism so it is very hard for me to gain weight. I lift weights 3 times a week and run 3 times a week. I eat right after I work out because I heard that is the best way to gain muscle.

Since working out again 3 weeks ago I have lost some around the waist and started getting better muscle definition. I have gained one pound.

Dusted off some old jeans today and they fit. I could almost put on my old 32" waist ones but not quite. Soon though

My routine is now:

5 sets of 20 crunches at 120 lbs.

Sundry weight lifting on the machines (I don't use free because I am toning not bulking)

50 minutes on the ski machine which equates to just over 5 miles and 700 calories.

maddogkf, how do you figure this net loss/gain business?

-maddogkf household on Monday morning-

*maddogkf wakes up and shuffles into bathoom. Pinches self at waistline*

"Looks like a loss of 5 pounds this week, cool!"

*Walks up to mirror and flexes bicep*

"Right on! Lookie there, 2 pounds of muscle gain! Can't wait to post the update."

You are doing great job by the way (better than me) but just curious.
