Week 8

What a downer!!
Just last week I was pondering on the line-up, and was patting myself on the back of picking Carmello when he was ranked like #30+ in the draft.

Then a big WHAMP!!! all of a sudden, I am back at the bottom with his suspension of 15 games...

Not a smart player, not behaving like a professional. The next time he throws a punch, better think about breaking the heart of thousands of fantasy owner.

Hopefully the ASFN league is not a Keeper's league. I would drop him next year.

No, that was Nash. Then I got BK from him.
And he is laughing all the way to the bank now with the player I swapped with him.

Say it an't so, Nash...

aint so dude. I'm sad that you lost Melo

but honestly man, you can't complain about BK's production. He's a solid 16 p, 8 ast guy when healthy.
My team has been racking up a lot of points (league No. 2) but my playas go all sedate while playing decent oppositions.

I now blame Kate for giving me Kaman in exchange for May

I was presented with two interesting choices this week. who to start?
1. C : Kaman or Marvin Williams ?
Kaman has been pretty ordinary all year. Marvin meanwhile, had a decent first week after returning from his injury. Besides, Kaman had a tough schedule this week.
So I went with Marvin.

2. Mike Miller or Matt Barnes ?
They both scored pretty much the same number of f pts/game last week. They both have 4 games this week.
I went with Mike because of 2 reasons:
Pau is likely to start playing decent mins this week. that could mean Mike can focus on scoring instead of rebounding.
In Barnes case though, Biedrins and Jason Rich are likely to return from injuries this week. So Barnes is likely to lose PT.

looks like the second decision was a stoopid one! Barnes has made 28 first half points against Mike's 16.
crap!

lmao

And to think, I was gonna nix the deal, but at the last moment said, screw it - I will do it. It makes me feel a little bit better about the not drafting Okafor thing.

Look out league, my team is starting to roll. As long as Al Jefferson keeps giving me production from the C spot, my team won't suck.

I drafted Brevin Knight and traded him and I am very happy with Ridnour I am not happy that I will be without Lamar Odom for another 3-4 weeks.

beneath the veneer of a Suns fan, Zona90 really is a Laker fan.

That is the one thing that sucks about fantasy football/basketball/baseball, you get players that are onteams that you don't like. I'll pull for Odom but hope the Lakers lose.
