Great - Kevin Martin AND Sean May are out this week with injuries. And Charlie, too, but I think he came back last night.

LOL

from CoJack. It's nice to play someone who also has injuries.

WOW now Krstic is out with a knee injury.

4/5 of my starters are either out with an injury, taking a game off cuz they're hurt, OR they just got hurt.

Zona, you definitely have this week in the bag. Crap!

Injuries are strange this year--if your team has injuries, for some freak reason, it's usually more than one player on your roster. Very strange.

I just lost Rashard Lewis, but hopefully Jason Richardson will get it together and I'll be alright.

cojack: never get into a trade with Kate. review her proposal and quickly make the players she wanted to starters on your team. poor performers usually start doing well once they go to her team, so if she needs a player, thats a sign he's going to explode
Take it from someone who traded with her.

Hey, you initiated that trade!! But now Sean is out with an ankle sprain, and Nenad Krstic is out for the year. So that sucks.

Doesn't matter though - Zona denied it. He wanted a GF, and I proposed one with similar numbers to who was on his trade block, so I'm not quite sure what else he is looking to get.

yeah I read the news somewhere and felt bad for him. Though I've not seen much of him, he comes across as a hard working, selfless guy. Too bad for him, and you too

Hey guys, there is a pending trade in the league right now that I'm hesitant to approve. I probably will, but I wanted some second opinions. If those of you that are still active (and not part of the trade) can look at it and give me your opinions on it, I'd be grateful.

I dunno, both teams are in contention so I can't see there being any reason to just get rid of good players. Without taking a good look at their rosters the team not getting Yao is better off early on, but when Yao returns that could change things.

I would have nixed the Yao trade due to his injury.

If I were Mulli, I wouldn't do it (giving Redd and Big Ben, his two best players, for an injured Yao) but long-term, it's maybe a valuable option, if Yao is out for 6 weeks as initially reported.

When I first saw that trade, my reaction was "what the hell?!". I came here to discuss why anyone would give away Redd and Wallace and see you guys are already talking about it.

It looked like a real bad trade for whoever was trading away Redd , esp. since Yao is injured. I haven't had a chance to look at their rosters to reason why they're doing this though. One of them must be super drunk from the holiday binge.

Miniditkas weren't winning any championships this year. Ben Wallace doesn't have much left after this year or next. Yao does. I figured it was worth a shot.
