I can't believe I'm still winning, even with Charlie Villanueva out. I cant help but think where my team would be right now if I had drafted Okafor instead STUPID ASS Kaman. (last time I mention, that I promise!)
If Gilbert Arenas or Kevin Martin ever have a bad week or get hurt, I am screwed.

My team sucks. I have no Center and no Power Forward. Ugh.

Carter pulled it off 521 to 507.5, as Borat would say NIIICE!!!
3 and 1 and my first week loss was due to the injury bug

I've been fighting the injury bug all season long with White Chocolate, Richard Jefferson, and Al Harrington all being out at one time or another. But somehow I'm still 3-1.
All of my injuries have forced me to lead the league in transactions with 12! I was actually starting Pargo and Darrell Armstrong at PG earlier.
I guess I'm fairly happy now:
Jarret Jack
Fred Jones
Richard Jefferson
Al Harrington
Tim Duncan
Duncan is still available if the right deal comes along.

I feel your pain.
I CUT MONTA ELLIS RIGHT BEFORE THE SEASON IN ORDER TO SIGN KAREEM RUSH. (Caps for emphasis.)
I would have had:
Ellis
Crawford
Jefferson
Harrington
Duncan

After much debating, I accepted ECR Wines' (Nash) trade
Im sending him Kaman, for Sean May and Deshawn Stevensen. I need one of the two to replace Martell Webster who is just EH right now, while Charlie Villanueva is sitting out with an injury.
Kaman's not lived up to expectations, but then again, he did just get over an off-season injury. I had a Center to spare, plus May's had some good games and it IS a keeper league. So we'll see.
But Damn ECR - you have a solid lineup now - Center was your only weak spot.
Ps - Wasted: THAT SUCKS! I feel your pain!!

hmm. just for the record, I own Monta Ellis and Emeka
it was a super monster matchup for me this week. I went up against BadaBing. Both of us had 573.5 pts (or something like that) going in to the last day for our players which was sat.
frikking sean may has suddenly lost out on mins, playing 16 mins tot in the last 2 games. probably because of the need to keep the hot hand morrison in all the time. (they don't play same posn, but you know what i mean).
cp and emeka laid eggs in their last game for me, resulting in a gsw-den style scoreline and defeat for me
723.5-748.5
good game Bing.
PS: I got May replaced. I noticed Kate wasn't starting Kaman, so I figured it might be worth a try. it worked out.
May has been making decent numbers of 10.5/6 in the 26 mpg he was getting. the last two games, his numbers dropped with PT.
btw, deshawn has been quiet, but his bench numbers have been very steady because he does a lot of things. I would've tried the more popular, but less versatile Anthony Parker as the next option to get a center in trade.
btw, guys -- I picked up Barnes, who's been having super outings in the past few games. hope he develops in to something good.

don't know if wasted can join. his backup rowdies from the roster all have torn muscles or sprained ankles.

Haha.
That must suck scoring over 700+ points and still losing. Definitely frustrating. But at least you can take comfort in knowing you're gonna destroy your upcoming opponents. I think you have one of the best teams, points wise, right now.

Karma will come back to bite him! By the end of the year, his entire starting lineup will be injured.

Stevensen may work out. He's had a few decent games in a row, and is getting minutes. I was debating trading Oberto straight up for him, but traded with Devon instead. (Fred Jones.)

I expect Barnes's minutes to drop a bit again once Davis returns, which is why I traded for Jones instead. Davis and Ellis are both just too good for Barnes to get any really significant minutes. (But he will get some more PT based on his recent performances.)
Of course, with my luck, he'll start to average 25ppg.

yep, Barnes has benefitted from the injuries on his team, mainly Pietrus'.
I didn't have a clue about Fred Jones until I read about you discussing him here. So I actually copied the stats of DeShawn and Jones, to compare them side by side a few days back. IIRC, they were closely matched with DShawn(I think) having the edge. (yep, I need to get a life)
but damn dude! you made me ask you for Oberto, after I spat on his face 3 weeks back grr
