We now have 3 unclaimed spots, and one claimed spot for a team called "Winna" who hasn't identified himself. These are the people I haven't heard from:

I'm thinking that "Winna" is moviebuff316, but he has not replied to me. The rest need to claim their teams ASAP. I hate to do it, but I need to institute a deadline for a couple reasons: 1) we need to get going on the draft, especially with this size of a league, and 2) if it is going to be this hard to get any communication from them, how dedicated are they going to be to the league? That's why I unfortunately had to let go of 2 teams a week ago. I hate doing that, but you guys should know I DO have a waiting list.
The deadline will be Tuesday, and I will send out emails and PMs again, but I can't keep doing it, I unfortunately have to draw a line somewhere.

As of right now, I am going to extend the deadline to Wednesday afternoon. At that time, if I don't hear from any of the above 4 people, I will be opening signups to those on the waiting list, which right now consists of 2 people. Not only will I open the unclaimed spots up, but I will also delete the owner of the team called "Winna" for non-communication. If these guys aren't going to check the board, what makes anyone think they will check their fantasy team?
I have to be the bad guy, again. I hate to do it, but we have 26 other owners out there waiting on word on when the draft will begin. I only ask for some consideration.

No worries Chap. I'm sure all of us would like to be in a league with responsive owners. Cut 'em if needed.

If the draft is during the week, any suggestions for those who cannot participate for all of it? I am not complaining, I just don't know if I can sit for the whole thing. I will just autopick if I have to.

Autopicking is the only viable solution to that. With 30 teams, there is bound to be a couple that can't make it.
Personally, I may have to move the draft to a weekend, because I am starting a new job next week, and it might not be the best thing if I spend a couple hours Wednesday morning on a basketball draft.

At 5pm Pacific time, I will be sending a PM to the 4 people on the waiting list with information on the league and the password. After that, it is first-come, first-serve.
And a note: I WILL be deleting the owner for the team "Winna", whoever that is. I again can't stress enough the importance of communication in this league. It will be very difficult if you cannot be reachable by email or on this board for weeks at a time. So just keep that in mind.
