Ross and Rachel's first kiss on Friends has topped a new poll of tv smooches.
The television couple, played by David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston, first locked lips in the second season of the sitcom and their kiss beat Richard Chamberlain's romantic encounter with Rachel Ward in The Thorn Birds in the new poll in us tv magazine tv guide.
The top 10 tv kisses are:
1. Ross + Rachel (Friends)
2. Father Ralph + Meggie (The Thorn Birds)
3. Sam + Diane (Cheers)
4. Carrie + Mr Big (Sex + The City)
5. Kate + Sawyer (Lost)
6. Buffy + Spike (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)
7. Susan + Mike (Desperate Housewives)
8. Pacey + Joey (Dawson's Creek)
9. Sydney + Vaughn (Alias)
10. Marissa + Ryan (The Oc).

I have to throw in a sports one: When Sir Charles kissed a donkey after losing a bet to Kenny Smith on whether or not Yao Ming would ever score a certain number of points in a NBA Game.
