i was sure we had talked about this show before, but i couldn't find anything on it.

anyone catch this on monday? i have to say, i really really enjoyed it. my total love for eddie izzard could be clouding my judgEment, but i don't think so.

just the one episode which aired monday. fx will replay it saturday and sunday nights, around 10pm. dvr it. also, tv.com has the full episode available to watch.

The numbers are in and The Riches is off to a nice start for FX. The 3.8 million viewers more than doubled the best Monday night at 10 the network has ever had. That was also slightly better than the premieres of Nip/Tuck and Dirt, but fell short of The Shield, Rescue Me, and Over There. In the 18-49 demo, the news was even better. The Riches ranks as the number two premiere, trailing only The Shield.

I've been meaning too. Ever since I saw Eddie Izzard's standup, I've been intrigued by his ambiguous personality. The show looks entertaining, unfortunately I have not been able to see a show yet.

i'm sure fx will have a marathon of some sort soon. catch it if they do.

This is now my favorite TV show. It is good enought to be one of HBO's original shows. I'm surprised it is on FX and not on FOX.

i'm glad it isn't. they'd have to edit it a bit for it to be on fox.

Dynamite show. Minnie Driver is excellent. Loved the scene when the Gated Community Association Presdident's prosthetic arm got ripped off.

The concept of the gender confused 12 year old is different. FX now has 2 grea shows. The Riches and Rescue Me.

it's funny, I think the set-up and the idea for the show is really good, but ultimately, it's NOT smart enough for it's own good IMO. Too many easy outs for the grifters. i wish it was a little tighter as far as that's concerned, but I like the relationships between the characters and the dynamic of the show. but again, I think it's just a little off for me.
