i'm with you on sark and sloane. i really like sloane, i don't care how evil sydney tried to make him out to be.

Ok, you simply need to find a way to download and watch the Mars season 2, since the DVDs don't come out until August. I'm buying Season one to rewatch it. BTW, season two...I still heart Logan and even moreso. If you don't watch it you'll never understand my upcoming sig lines like "Chlamydia is not a flower" and such.

On to Alias (since this is now for all intents and purposes a TWO SHOW thread) is the season finale for year two better than that episode where SD6 goes down, the Alliance is destroyed, Dixon finds out, Sloane's reveal on his wife being alive because of him happens, and the Francie Clone reveal? Seriously, that was one of the most awesome hours of TV I've ever watched...if the finale can even hang with that, I'm going to be excited.

i'd say the alias s. 2 end was pretty good. the whole story line is meshing together since i watched them all back to back, but i wasn't disappointed.

Alias S2 is now behind me.

This show is fantastic...I dig it. That finale was awesome. That season may have been one of the best of any show...loved it.

I also like that there is a lot more gunplay in this season than the first...early on it was like Syd was averse to shooting people. This season cleared that up as she is shooting people like Jack Bauer would.

S3, cue em up!

ugh, that used to bug the hell out of me! thank god they got over that. i also have a hard time believing that she just happens to come up against the slowest reacting bad guys ever. they always have guns, but somehow she manages to run up to them and kick the guns out of their hands before they get a shot off.

just finished the second disk of s3. if you thought victor garber was awesome before, he rocks the party that rocks the party in s3.

d-dogg, don't read this part (not that it's a huge spoiler or anything, just in case): ok, how whiny and annoying is vaughn's wife? and seriously, what's with her jaw? does she only have half a chin?

We just finished disc 2 last night as well. Picking up discs 3 and 4 today.

Jack Bristow is the freaking man. I love the way his mind works.

So far, I'm digging this season still...I haven't yet felt like its dropped off...who knows.

Lauren is whiny...but I did like when she shot that dude during Syd's rescue. She's getting better. I also liked the scene where she was driving the car and Syd was blasting out of the windows...that was sick!

I still heart Sark as the coolest bad guy you'd want to hang out with ever.

Nope. Krycek is better than Sark, and Cigarette Smoking Man is better than Sloane.

d-dogg, did you watch any last night? i watched the next disk and found myself wishing i could talk to you about it while i was watching since i knew you were in the same spot. i kept guessing what would happen, then my guess would come true and i would be pissed that no one knew just how awesome my guessing abilities are (although i'm sure they were obvious things that everyone thought at the time).

No, blockbuster didn't have V2. Not that it was checked out, but they DON'T STOCK THAT VOLUME! Idiots. I have to get the next two discs off BB Online so it will take me a few days.

I know, we just looked at the counter person incredulously. "Really? You don't carry that one, but you do carry V1 and V3?" "Yeah," she says.

Really, that rendered me speechless. Kind of walked out in shock at the sheer illogical situation and the fact that I had no Alias...

let me guess, the blockbuster employee had no idea why that logic didn't follow. i've had a few of those run ins myself.

ok, well i'm going to have to post my thoughts anyway, maybe cm will commiserate with me about it. so don't read the next post.

d-dogg, this is the post you shouldn't read.

random thoughts:

- sydney's new apartment is too nice. where does she get the money for that?

- the covenant taxi driver guy is totally the bad guy from s. 4 of 24

- mr. cho is totally the hanso foundation guy; j.j. must have really liked working with him.

- when sydney goes in front of the covenant and has to prove she really believes she's julia thorne, the voice of the guy is definitely quentin tarantino, but i don't think his old character is supposed to be the one talking. didn't that character die?

- jack bristow gets cooler and cooler with each episode

- that dream episode was awesome

- totally knew that isabella would be lena's sister (although that was probably obvious to everyone)

- totally knew that vaughn's wife sucked

- will was awesome in his reappearance. i like him much better now.

- i've always thought the vaughn relationship was too easy, that there must be more there. in the dream episode, when she first is dreaming and she's in the ambulance with vaughn right after she shot frallison, i first watched it and thought that it wasn't a dream, but a memory. i'm still not convinced it isn't.
