I remember something about that, but I forgot how it happened...

****again, possible spoiler for newbies****
will gets kidnapped by the russians because he mentioned, per jack's instructions, as a way to set up a meeting with his "deep throat") rambaldi's circumference. he knew nothing about it, although the russians didn't know that, so they kidnapped him and tortured him. previously he had given a reporter friend the story he had written about sd-6 and told her to have it printed if anything happened to him. when he was kidnapped, she assumed the worst and printed it. meanwhile, sydney and her dad go in to get him back, a move that sd-6 finds out about. in an effort to prove to sd-6 that will is not a "problem" and will not be looking into them any more, they come up with a heroin addiction for will to explain his disappearance and story. he claims the story was fiction and he wrote it while drugged up.

you know what's funny, i had to look up the specifics of that finale. i have watched like 5 a day so they're all running together. that said, good ending! i kind of had a feeling about her mom once sydney had her "revelation" underwater while sucking the air from the tires of the car. also, should be interesting to see where the whole sloane/sloane's wife storyline goes. i thought it was funny that sloane dug up her grave. after he saw it empty, i was thinking, "that doesn't prove she's alive. if anyone's is messing with you, they're just going to dig her up to make you think she's alive."
dammit, now i really want to go home and watch more. arg, 5 more hours!

But didn't the finale turn everything on its head? Or maybe that was season 2?

I know, he's way too "boy, syd is super duper cool spy girl man I should kiss her again even though her dad gave me sweet lady h and all but syd is awesome i'm so happy to be her friend and in secret love with her but not like vaughn because I'm not her handler and I've actually kissed her so there isn't as much sexual tension and drugs are good and remember when I was in wedding crashers and used to mess around on Rachel McAdams and told my friends about how I hooked up with some slut and he said SLUTS!! and I laughed, then threw up from visine and oh boy would Syd kick that owen wilson's ass and wow I'm lucky to be alive."
I'd like to see a bit more anger about being told to become a drug addled bitch, and losing his job and all. But all he sees is "Must kiss syd again..must kiss syd again..."
I've only seen two eps in season two thus far, but am betting dollars to donuts at an even exchange rate that he'll be working for either SD-6 or CIA before I hit mid-season.

my predictions, with 5 episodes left to watch in season 2:
vaughn really is a double agent/bad guy/not who he says he is.
sloane is really sydney's dad
i just wanted to get those down now in case they happen, and then i won't seem like i'm lying if i say "i totally knew that was going to happen!"
