Have your bittorrent friend get Veronica Mars season two for you as well. I'd burn them out for you, but I've already deleted them from my computer.

Finished Season 3. Wow.

That was just awesome...lauren, Katya, et al. Some really great episodes. That was marwan there, and when Katya stabbed Dr. Marvin Candle with the icepicks in his hands I told my wife (see, that's why he doesn't move that hand on the tape in Lost). Sark = badass. Quentin returning was cool...and Irina is definitely leading the covenent.

Waiting on Disc 1 of season 4. Hopefully will knock this out by the end of the week if I can get that first disc.

I stopped watching after Sloane had a doppelganger but watched 5x08-14 (still have 5x15-17 to watch). My questions are:

1) Who was Vaughn really and why did he go into hiding to recover?
2) What happened to Sydney's mom?

I thought those questions were addressed somewhere in season 4. I was asking you.

in the finale for season 4, her mom disappears so as to avoid being taken in by the cia. no idea where she went. also at the end of season 4, the very, very end, vaughn starts to tell sydney that he's not quite who she thinks he is. that it wasn't an accident that she met him specifically at the cia and that his name isn't really michael vaughn. that's all i know. i'll fill you in when i get more.

Just picked up Disc 1 of S4 from a blockbuster 20 minutes from my house.

Have disc 1, 2 and 3 in my possession. Disc 4 arrives Wed, and I'll probably have disc 5 on Friday (or Sat). Then I can pick up the finale disc at my local BB.

I will now go into shut down mode...

A couple more to go; we're on the fourth episode of Disc 1 right now.

Things I think:

Irina is not dead...she and Jack orchestrated her death for some unknown reason. Irina is leading the covenent, and/or is behind everything. Her name is central to Rombaldi dammit.

Nadia knows that Irina isn't dead, and played it off like she thought she was. I don't know if she's playing Jack, Syd or both, but I'm sure Sloan is in on it.

Nadia isn't what she pretends to be...she is something else entirely and whatever the Rombaldi artifict she and Pappy Sloan found wasn't just "turned over" to the government.

I still don't understand why Syd was referenced as a project in those top secret docs...I feel something isn't being said about those docs.

That's through three eps....this season so far seems very Lost-like...closing one door and opening two more, with a hint of something huge right in the background.

interesting... your paranoia runs deep, much like mine. hmmm... obviously, i won't tell you if you're right or not. well, actually, i'm not even sure. i only know if you are/are not right as of the end of season 4. it could all change.
