Five young men give up the modern world they know and spend 40 days in a Benedictine monastery. Each man comes with his own set of values and issues: one is a recovering alcoholic, one is a cynic, there's a former Marine, an aspiring Episcopal priest, and a former gang member. Each participant will be paired with a Benedictine mentor with whom they will be expected to share their experiences and difficulties.

My wife and I watched this last Sunday. Beautiful monastery in New Mexico.

Very interesting show. The life of a monk would be very difficult. Hopefully the experience will change a couple of these guys.
