Ryan gets Coyote Tony, since I banned him, it just wouldnt be right for us to be on the same team.. that way I can pummel him and not feel bad about taking out a mate!

that was the lamest end show this isde of Seinfeld - I mean did anyone really believe Ross and Rachel weren't gonna end up together? Give me a bittersweet and realistic ending that actually has the balls that Cheers did - Did Sammy end up with Diane or anyone for that matter at the end - no - why? Because that's what the reality of life is - and that is what made Cheers SO great as a whole - it was a show with true emotional backbone against a backdrop of brilliant comedy - the reason it stands heads and shoulders above Friends IMO - don't get me wrong - Friends was a very funny show - but it can't even be put in the same league as Cheers and tonight's drag it out, suspenseless show is a prime example.
Joey's still pretty hilarious though - it'll be intersting to see how he fares outside of the Friends world - my guess is not nearly as successfully as Frasier did without Cheers.

it was funny. It'll be missed for sure.
Joey's show, if handled right, could do well. Your right cheese, his character is a crack-up.
Rembrandts are putting out a new album. Great harmonies!
Phoebe always makes me laugh also.
Now Frazier goes also?
Bummer. Two really good comedies.

I don't think it's that unrealistic that they got together...I mean, they had a kid together, they've always liked each other...
I don't think tonight's show HAD to be suspenseful to make it great...fans wanted to see it end RIGHT, and happily ever after...which it did.
Cheers didn't, but it also wasn't the same type of show that Friends was. I think for what Friends was, it ended like it should have.

Well said, Mike!
Friends isnt always happy-ending. Monica and Chandler weren't able to have a kid together, so they had to adopt. Granted they eventually got a kid in the end, but it wasn't their first choice. Such is life.
But anyhoo, I'm sad it's over. It's been a fun ride. Thursday nights hanging with the girls will never be the same.
