Yes, and I was hoping they would run out of gas!

Are the Weavers allowed to go get gas during the mandatory rest period or do they have to stay at the ranch? And what time did they get in? If they have to stay and they got in at 5 p.m. they might have a hard time finding a place to get gas at that hour.

I really don't like that team. For a while I thought that maybe the producers were just painting them as they are, but really all those Weavers do is complain about how no one likes them. Well, maybe it's cuz you bitch so much! Geesh!

they are obnoxious and I take back my earlier comment that Rolly is ok. Last night they're building the teepee and he's dancing around doing a mock Indian chat with the chief standing a few feet away. To be fair his family told him to shut up but god talk about completely missing the point.

But I sure won't miss the godawful whining and yelling from the Godlewskis. The one sister in blue I realized last night almost never said a word, it was the other 3 that were awful.

The Amazing Race Continues After the Finale
Source: CBS
December 8, 2005

For the first time ever, the teams who finish in second and third place during the two hour season finale of The Amazing Race 8 on Tuesday, Dec. 13 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) will have one final chance to win a very special prize, a brand new 2006 GMC Yukon XL. Video footage of the entire bonus mini-race will be streamed exclusively on CBS.com, the official website of the CBS Television Network, immediately following the West coast broadcast of the finale (11:00 PM, PT).

In the exclusive CBS.com bonus challenge, the second and third place winners of The Amazing Race 8 will compete in a mini-race that will require teams to recall specific challenges and locations from this past season. The team who's first to complete the challenge correctly will drive away in their very own 2006 GMC Yukon XL.

On the Early Show, they had the Linzes on giving them their check. They are going to give half to their parents, and split the remaining money among all seven of the kids - very cool.

The preview clips look like the next season will be back to normal.

Thank jesus... oops been watching the Weavers too long.

Yeah I read something that basically said CBS has decided the family idea was a complete bomb.

I didn't pay any attention to it. Not just that it was families with kids, but from what I saw, it was all US/Canada. Boring!
