Yeah, I was so bummed she was going, and then Janu saves the day...her sad existence on the island finally paid off!
What a great episode...
But was it me, or did that tall guy with the glasses put the idea in Janu's mind about laying down her torch? THat's what I heard at least...wonder if the rest of the tribe noticed.
Good for Stephanie, she deserves to be around...I hope the woman unite next week, and that she lasts until the end...if she does, there is no way no one votes for her to win the million.

Was great. I think Steph is starting to wear down emotionally though. She has been through a lot.
ok I must've missed that. (trying to watch a show w/a 3-yr old you miss some things) I still liked Jeff taking it & going with it. Steph is a trooper. I hope she turns the girls against the guys. I think she wouldn't have if she wasn't on the chopping block, but I think they pissed her off. If she can pull this off, she'll go down as the best of all time.
Ian said it, but it was definately Jeff that ran with it. He really influenced her. I hate it when he does that--it's only been a couple of times, but does influence the game every once in a while. I don't think that's right.
I'll bet Rob Burnett took Jeff aside before tribal council and said "do what you can to get them to keep Steph, mate." Steph is so much better for ratings it's not even funny.

Don’t get me wrong I am a Steph fan but I think the producer made this happen. Ian did start it by saying that Jannu could lay down her torch but then Jeff ran with it. He kept the conversation going that direction until she finally came out and did it. At any time he could have changed the direction of the outcome by his questioning but he just kept adding fuel to the fire. Or he could have stopped it by saying it was time to vote. The only other times someone quit on the show Jeff tried his hardest to talk them into staying but this time as soon as Jannu mentioned it he was like, OK bring me your torch.

I know everyone wants to blame it on conspiracy...but Jeff hass always done this. If he finds something out about someone, he presses...that's his job.
Maybe Mark Burnett did say something, but I think sometimes Jeff just digs like someone doing an interview...
Jeff has always done the knife turning thing, this time it just seemed more deliberate.
I was really glad that Stephanie didn't have to leave. It is fun to finally watch a woman play the game tough. If she does manage to unite the women who do they target first?
Tom or Gregg?
My choice would be Tom, but that is just because I can't stand him. Not that it really matters because if she can get rid of either one she will probably be able to run with it.
