I'd love to see Guatemala, I love ruins. We saw the ruins at Chichen Itza when we went to Cancun last summer and it was awesome. I can hardly imagine those Mayan temples in Guatemala.

My thoughts exactly. On top of that the guy she told said she had said Gary was a Linebacker. Seems like a typical female mis-statement on football. I bet the person who told her had to tell her again...Quarterback!

Classic Survivor decision last night do you vote off Jamie, the guy everyone hates, or do you vote along tribal lines and take out the farmboy.
Kind of surprised they went the way they did.
I like the new twist with the hidden immunity idol. Seems like this year the players are much more hostile to each other too.
The rumor is this is Jeff Probst's last run as host, his contract is up after the show and the rumor is he wants out to explore other options, doesn't want to be typecast. Survivor originally denied it but apparently the rumor now is he'll be replaced by an unnamed female "former survivor". Suppose it could be Stephenie since she's so popular although I figure Elisabeth makes sense too she's in show biz now.
Stephenie makes me physically ill. If they make her the host I'll actually find a life and quit watching this show.
I like her but she's no Elisabeth, the sole reason she's on again this season is she was so popular last season. Jenna Morasca is definitely a possibility, Jenna Lewis is an "actress" but don't think she's host material.
I'm hoping they convince Jeff to come back, the show is it a crossroads as it is, losing him would really hurt he's so good at picking open wounds at tribal council and making things interesting.
So did they out Gary yet? I saw on previews that he was admitting he played football, but havent seen it yet. Perhaps I missed it during a potty break?

They had a preview where he was kicking ass on somme type of throwing challenge, but he didn't admit he was a football player.

Gary is still hanging tough, though I haven't seen him admint to playing ball yet. He just palin trotted to the top of that ruin balancing a pot on his head, way too funny.
I like the hidden idol too, I know we don't see things 24/7 but I they don't spend too much time looking for it.
CBS Orders More Survivor Source: CBS
November 8, 2005
The CBS Television Network has ordered two additional editions of Survivor to be broadcast during the 2006/07 season. These will mark the 13th and 14th editions of the hit reality series.
"'Survivor' is that rare television breed -- a show with seemingly endless audience appeal," said Nina Tassler, President, CBS Entertainment. "Part of that is testament to a concept with inherent drama that features different faces and places; the other part is the ability of Mark Burnett and his talented team to inject new ideas and new wrinkles to keep the format fresh."
Tassler continued: "It started as a cultural phenomenon and has evolved into a consistent Top 10 show that leads off the most successful night of television on any network. We look forward to taking audiences to more exotic locations next season and introducing them to the next wave of ordinary citizens marooned as 'Survivor' castaways."
"It is an honor that our show's continued ratings success has become part of television history," said executive producer Mark Burnett. "'Survivor' has been, and continues to be, a wonderful experience for me and for my production crew, and that has remained unchanged since our beginnings. I look forward to continuing as part of the CBS family, and in keeping our loyal Thursday night audience entertained and enthralled for many more years to come."
With last spring's 10th edition finishing fifth in viewers, the Survivor franchise became only the sixth show in the history of television to rank in the Top 10 in every season it's been broadcast (10 editions over the course of five seasons).
Survivor is on the verge of extending that streak as the current 11th edition, Survivor: Guatemala -- The Maya Empire, remains a Top 10 program in viewers (No. 7), adults 18-49 (No. 7) and adults 25-54 (No. 7).
Survivor: Guatemala -- The Maya Empire has won its time period every week this season in viewers (17.64m), adults 18-49 (6.2/17), adults 25-54 (7.6/19) and adults 18-34 (4.3/13).
