BS^ Of course they say they are planned, not like they are going to admit changing it up to make it more compelling instead of the one team kicking the crap out of the other repeatedly.
I've felt that with Amazing Race(non elimination legs) but I believe it with Survivor. the reason I say that is I've heard Probst interviewed several times and he has said repeatedly one of the things that keeps the show fresh is they constantly make changes so that contestants can't "game" the show. They don't want there to be a formula that you can use to guarantee success in the show because that makes it too predictable.
Russ I have no doubt they had these changes in mind but they can choose when to do them in order to try and even up the game. Don't think that the twists are JUST twists they always seem to be trying to make things fair which in turn always screws someone that is doing well in this case Marcus or Ace! They make it where some of the weak are able to team up and get rid up people that deserve it more that the losers voting them out, its just tiring. Always seeing good players get screwed in Survivor I mean honestly out of all the seasons only a few deserved the money but people are so bitter they should let America vote or something for the winner.

I think you are forgetting that there's nothing that says the "strong" player is supposed to win. this isn' weakest link where the show literally died because people got sick of watching bad players gang up to vote off the good player completely against the intent of the show.
Survivor has outwit, outplay outlast or whatever the mantra is. The game is not just physical, it's mental and social too. There's no question Jeff will "meddle" with the game, he does it all the time at tribal council when he'll call someone out and go out of his way to bring out a conflict or something because it makes for good TV. But I do think in the end, they are not sitting there saying Ace is going to win if we don't stop him somehow. Ace lost because there's a balance between being strong, and being a threat, and eventually Sugar shifted from he's strong, to he's a threat to me, and she swung and voted him off.
Personally that's why the show is still interesting to me, if the best athlete won every time I'd be bored. Hell arguably the best athletes they've had on there were Ozzy and James and neither one of them won, 2 attempts each.
I think it was last season on the "fans versus favorites"... he made a really poorly contructed (carved in wood) idol. Gave it to another member to use, they did and felt pretty stupid... Actually was a crack up... But Bob's is fricking awesome looking.
Awesome stuff... Randy was a boob, best fake idol hit yet... Bob looked like he felt a tad guilty, but it was great entertainment, at least my wife and I enjoyed it...

Actually the 3rd time it's been done, YauMan made a fake one too. But I agree Bob's was teh best and the reaction of everyone was classic. I really disliked randy so couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Why hasn't anyone figured out kenneys a snake and tried to take him out? Especially Sugar after Ace got out. kenney is playing the game very smart I think. I think sugar said something like he is a snake and crystal is a bully in a commercial for the next episode. Sugar is smarter then people give her credit for.
Why hasn't anyone tried to blindside sugar so she cant use the immunity idol? So that takes it out of play.
At the start of the game I didn't like susie all that much but she has grown on me a lot! Anyone else feel the same about her as I do?

I am glade corrine got voted out she was a ***** you have to have a good personality to win this game and she didnt have one just like Randy. I think Bob or Matty will be gone next unless something unexpected happens which it usually does.
