That's the earliest they ever jumbled up the teams I think Survivor does an excellent job of monitoring the game and when they think people know the game too well, they change the rules. I think it keeps the show fresh and interesting.

Agree Russ that and the other team was just so much stronger they didn't want to see the weak team get killed every week. They changed up the teams and yet the stupid team that makes bad decisions once again made a dumb decision I mean how do you get rid of strong members as you keep losing? I think Matt is the personal trainer is going to start going with Ace because he realizes his other people are just stupid to keep voting out stronger players and keeping the weak around. I mean this was a no brainer get rid of Kelly as she is totally useless, but no they get rid of the strong girl...just dumb. GC and the goofball video game kid and the huge black woman are just to stupid to get past themselves honestly, they won't be around too long with decisions like their making. Ace has got to be pissed he was on a strong team now he is stuck with a bunch of losers wanting to lose more apparently by their voting strategies.
actually getting rid of strong members might not be that bad of a strategy because you might not win challenges by doing this but its getting rid of competition. if you do well in challenges and work in camp you wont get voted off so in the end it doesn't matter if you win the challenges or not because by getting rid of strong people you are lessening the competition. people on the show dont seem to think like this they believe what nashman believes which is totally fine you can play the game however you wish.

I kind of agree and kind of don't, in some ways after they split the teams there was less incentive to be "strong" because after the merge the numbers will be jumbled up anyways.
The usual reason to keep strong players is you want the numbers at merge so you can vote off the other teams members after the merge, but since they mixed up the teams already the voting as a block stuff might be out the window?
Ok folks..... What game is Ken the world champ in???
edit..... Found it.
Ken Hoang gives a new meaning to the term "gamer." Known to the gaming community as "the King of Smash," Hoang is a professional at his craft. As the current international champion of Nintendo's Super Smash Brothers Melee video game, Ken has traveled the world from Japan to Australia to prove his dominance.
Hoang uses his tournament winnings to help support his family. He and his siblings still live at home to help pay the mortgage. It has also led to a strong bond among his brothers and sisters. In fact it was his sister that started

funny Kelly was talking about how she doesn't have time for quitters i think it was her who said that but yet shes the one who doesnt even try at all in the challenges. also the fruit game looked really fun i would have wanted to be the one that catches the fruit and puts it in the basket.
Last night just sucked all around for me. They kept hinting at we're going to blindside Sugar, or Ace, etc but in the end they did the same old boring vote
thing.
At least Sugar got some respect , she gives Ace the idol but then she takes it back and tells him. That proved 2 things, everyone knew she had it, and it proved to Ace that he can trust Sugar because she didn't have to tell him she took it back. he could have gone to tribal thinking he had it and then discovered he didn't.
So it cements her position in the short term with Ace, and also allows her to backdoor him later because he'll trust her.
Looks like they will merge after next week, the preview said both teams have to vote someone off, theyr'e at 12 now so that puts them at 10 which is usually about the time they merge.
I disagree Russ last night for ONCE the loser tribe actually did the RIGHT thing. Those idiots vote off stronger people left and right because their stupid, Matty was right to make a deal with Ace he was tired of losing. What happens they lose and the dumb ass black girl and gamer dude start talking about getting rid of Ace....WHAT? Thats how dumb they are they just want to keep getting rid of people that can help them win and keep losing, look if your tired of losing freakin vote out the losers that make your team weak so you can win a freaking challenge. It was actually interesting to see if they were actually gonna make the right vote or would they screw it up again. Crystal and Ken have to be two of the dumbest playing this game I swear their overthinking of every person they vote out make them make stupid ass decisions. I am glad Matty made a deal with Ace so that they could actually vote out someone that HELPS the tribe be stronger. Next week should be good looks like plans are flying around everywhere for whom to vote out on each tribe.

Seemed to me they lost because Ace insisted on doing the flagpole by himself and he screwed it up. The other team worked as a team and won.
I agree Ace is a strong player but in that event he cost them, he even essenitally admitted it at tribal council when jeff brought it up.
I think if you're losing everytime anyways it almost becomes pointless to keep the strong players. if they're not making you win, get them out if you can.
Russ your talking about 1 challenge that Ace didn't do well the rest of those fools suck every single time. It doesn't make sense they have been getting rid of people based on their so called alliance despite making the team weaker and weaker, their idiots and deserve to lose. They will be among the first to go if they even make the merge.

Agreed I'm just saying if you keep losing, it makes the argument of keeping strong players for the challenges less enticing. You're losing with the stronger players so why keep them, gang up on them and increase your odds of getting to the merge. Then at the merge its individual immunity and there's less strong players to compete with.
Normally I believe in voting off the weak first, but the've been so bad in the challenges it changes my view, I'd vote off Ace and even Matty because I know if I'm a weak player I can't beat them in individual immunity.
But that just makes them losers Russ. The threat of a merge hasn't been real until now and the have been voting off stronger players than some they have kept until that last vote is what I am saying. Yeah now that the merge is close the game is going to change but they kept losing because they were voting of the stronger players instead of the weak ones that held them back. Its a moot point now that the merge seems iminate, it should be interesting to see how the losers fair for themselves...my guess is not very good. Kenny is a weakling and will lose almost anything physical, and Krystal for a large athletic looking woman is really not in all that good of shape she should have killed at the things involving running but every since the first show she has been terrible at everything. They will be some of the first ones gone IF they even make the merge. Ace needs to be careful because people do view him as a threat thats never good on survivor.

I guess we just disagree. Last week Ace cost them by refusing to be a team player, this week Ace was completely ineffective in the reward challenge(not as bad as Sugar but still pretty bad) but then got to the finals in the individual immunity.
I think they did the exact right thing by voting him off. They have a bad team Sugar is weak, Chrystal has to be the worst former Olympic athlete in history, she could barely stand on the log, and her attitude sucks.
They'll probably get picked off after the merge anyways so I think Sugar made a very smart move in not loaning Ace the idol because he would have had to use it. Now she has it and if they merge next week it buys her a little more time in the game, because she's spent so much time at exile, she really hasn't formed a lot of alliances so she may have a chance to fit in after the merge.
Side not, anybody else dislike Randy as much as I do? In that keepaway contest if I'd been in there I'd have gone after him when he had the ball and planted him as if I was AW and he was Trent Edwards. He's just annoying as hell.

Yeah, that dude is terrible. Last week he said he liked winning most because of the dejected look on the losers faces and this week his favorite part of reward was the other team not having it. Who thinks like that? What a miserable way to be. He is an angry and bitter person.
I think that Kenny's team has recognized that they are not going to win much and are making things easier for themselves at merge by eliminating people that are a threat to win personal immunity. I think that is the right move for that team. If they had eliminated someone weak and won the next couple weeks they still would have been even with the other tribe and ace would probably have flipped anyways.
