Okay...I am putting a challenge out there for you guys...
Some of you trusted me a bit on the Firefly show, and it turned out that most of you liked it, if not loved it...some said it might be their favorite TV show of all time.
So I give you my favorite show of all time: Sports Night
This show was written by Aaron Sorkin, who did the West Wing, and while the show has a lot of fast talking, and quick witted dialog, it's funny, smart and heart warming. You get sucked into the characters almost from the start.
Anyways, my challenge to you guys is to rent the DVD's, or buy them...and tell me what you think.
If you watch them and don't like it, I'll bump up your post count by 1,000
Mike

i don't know, really. i get thrown when things don't go the way i think they will. i adjust after a little bit, but at first i don't like it. i guess i feel that about this show. it's a little lighter and brighter than i expected, but i'm sure i'll get past that.

Okay, first of all, if you watch from start to finish, you will absolutely LOVE this show.
Secondly, the laugh track goes away eventually...second season I believe.
Just wait...a few episodes and it really starts rocking. Wait for the one where Danny has to apologize...you'll cry.

Chandler Mike not only do we share a city but we share a love for the great show Sports Night. I have watched all 48 episodes 4 times or more. I love it, well written, funny and classy. It is classic Sorkin.
i did not enjoy sports night - i did not find it funny - i have no intention of ever watching it again - the mere thought gives me uncomfortable flashbacks of a cold winter in wilmington DE in 98 - bad bad thoughts

Espo...FINALLY...a Sports Night brother
I have watched them through at least 5-10 times, and I just turned them on the other day because I was bored.
One of my favorite all-time Sports Night exchanges:
Agent: "You guys will always be a 3rd place network!"
Danny: "Yeah, but that's all going to change when I grow a goatee."
