The wedding sucked.
Vito bouncing around in the gay bar was funny. Paulie is always good.

The subplots are always fascinating.

I know what you mean. At first I was thinking that maybe they had this set-up, but then I thought there’s no way Tony would do that. He just knew that he had to make a move like this to let the boys know that he was still in charge.

Isn't that funny that the very next episode he beats the crap out of his bodyguard to prove he wasn't going soft. Not only was it on the audience's mind but it was also on his crew's mind. That is why this show is so great!

He was looking at their muscles because he felt he was going weak. Did you see him check out his brother-in-law after he quit playing B-Ball to greet him? Also, did you notice how he was going back in forth b/w his bodyguard and the fat guy in the red jumper; Tony was deciding which one to beat up. I think its because they were the two lowest ranking guys at the table.

Not only that, but he acted like Dr. Melfi suggested he beat someone up.

Vito’s days of being a mobster are definitely over. However, I wonder if he’s going to be one of those characters that just disappear and we never hear from again. He seems to be fitting in well in that little down in New Hampshire.

with how outraged the old timers are I think it would be a sign of weakness for Tony to not go after him. He's gonna show up again, how long is that coffee tin full of money gonna last?

Some of these episodes have been good and some have been so so. All I know is its moving awfully sow for only 3 or 4 episodes remaining in the season and a total of 5 more left in the series after that.

I like when it moves slow. It gives you time to analyze the characters. I thought Christopher was great in the last show. His analysis on events always crack me up. “I don’t think so T, I mean he has a dog.” (when asked if he thought Vito was gay) Carm’s dad finally showing that he’s sick of dealing with all of her “stuff” for is entire life. You can tell that he has a lot of respect for Tony and wishes he could stand up to his wife and daughter more often. There are so many complex characters in this show, that sometimes it takes a while to continue to develop them all. And I think there are 8 more coming after this season.

"springer-spaniel"
I almost died laughing when tony and Melfi were talking about "male to male" sexual contact in prison. "You get a pass on that."

Yeah, you’re right, he said about 3 sentences explaining why he didn’t think Vito was gay, but the springer-spaniel part just had me rolling in laughter.
Then Tony had to make CERTAIN the Melfi understood that he was only in the pokey for a VERY short time, so nothing like this happened to him. It’s clever writing like this that makes the show so good.
