I mean if the writers are making him evil again, then how does Lionel not take out Clark or expose his secret now? If he is truely evil then he would do just that.
Because Lionel is a conniving type evil guy.
Like the scene when he confronts Lex after the wedding. Lex asks if he wants control of LutherCorp and Lionel bascially says he's gonna wait until the time is right to cash in on knowing that Lex murdered the doctor.
I think there is a much bigger agenda happening.

That is what I think. However, even if there is he doesn't plan on taking Lex along for the ride. If he did then he would at the very least tell Lex. I also think LL knowing Clark's secret means he's a gonner by the end of the series.

I wonder how long the series is going to last?
If the plan is to continue for a few more seasons I definitely see Lionel dying. Lex is slowly becoming evil and is really rubbing his relationship with Lana in Clark's face, but Lionel's death could really push him to be completely berserk.
I also think by the end of this season Lana, the baby, or both will die.

LL death could be the final straw for Lex. I have long contended that when the show ends, it will be Chloe's death will be the one that makes Clark realize that being "Supes" is the most important thing and leave's Lana and family behind.

I've loved this season so far...aside from the retarded "Heroes" shot of Clark, Green Arrow and company walking away from that explosion, the season has been solid and best of all...very dark.
I love Clark this way...even though I know he'll need to calm down somehow and not be so set on revenge.
But it was fun last night, deposit the Lois part being just too damn coincidental...and wont she wonder what happened?
Still...
And I wonder when we find out what Chloe's power will be?
To be honest I don't really watch the scenes with Lana and Lex. Someone want to explain to me what the deal with Lana's baby was?
Sorry didn't see this before. I'll try my bestest...
1. Lana pregnant from Lex presumably
2. After an appointment Lex and the doc speak outside of the room leading us to believe there is an expirment of some sort going on (don't remember the actual convo)
3. Lex is dreaming about the sonogram/ultrasound about himself watching a video of it at home, the baby gets a demonic look on its face and screams while looking at him
4. Lana has a miscarriage after the doctor that was "treating" her is murdered by Lex after threatening Lex that he was going to quit

I actually LOVED that scene. Kind of establishes the future of the justice league and is a direct nod to an opening sequence of the justice league cartoon.
Can't wait for the show to return. This last season should be epic. It will be the last season for Smallville. Michael Rosenbaum has already stated next season will be his last. Sounds like he has made up his mind to move on. Also if you listen to some recent comment by Tom Welling he has dropped of few hints about moving on as well. It probably would have been the last regardless.
Michael Rosenbaum, actor who plays Lex Luthor on the sci-fi series Smallville has decided to depart from the show, which has ultimately established his stance in the television world. According to Associated Content, Michael Rosenbaum confirmed that season seven would be his last participation on Smallville. At this point, there are no clear reports regarding the grounds of his departure or what’s in store for his future.
Rosenbaum, a 35-year old Jewish American actor, is a native of Long Island who studied at Western Kentucky University with a degree in theatre arts. As an actor, he previously appeared on television shows like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane. In addition, he also graced the movie world with films like Kicking It Old Skool, Racing Stripes, Cursed, Sorority Boys, Sweet November, Eyeball Eddie, Urban Legend and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
As Lex Luthor, Rosenbaum gave life and depth to the villainous character, evident in his acquisition of a Saturn Award for his notable performance in 2001, the year he first appeared on the series Smallville, an action-adventure show that follows the adventures of the young Clark Kent, played by Tom Welling. Throughout the series Luthor’s transition from Clark’s friend to his most hated enemy is a never-ending plot.
Apart from portraying Luthor, he has was given the opportunity to make his directorial debut in an episode of Smallville called “Freak” which aired last February 15, 2007, which is the 15th episode of it’s sixth season. The installment, about a young man and his ability to detect people affected by Kryptonite meteors, garnered an above average satisfactory review from TV.com.
With much significant accomplishments and contributions to the show, his departure will obviously impinge the plot into a different direction. And with just season seven, as well as the rest of season six left, viewers will certainly make the most out of his remaining time on the hit series.
