I wasn't a big fan of this show until I started watching the reruns on the cartoon network - but man it is brilliant - and now because of record DVD sales, it might be coming back. Here's the link with the story:
As the Kool-Aid man says: OH YEAH! (btw - their use of the Kool-aid man in one episode still ranks as the single funniest thing I have ever seen on TV)

Favorite episode? Mine would have to be the one where Peter founds his own country and annexes his best friend's pool. Also, the one with Lois's piano recital rivalry and the Pawtucket brewery tour (done to spoof Willie Wonka)
Cheesie, wasn't the Kool Aid man in the first episode?

I don't know - I actually have never even seen the entire episode - unless it is the one where Ted Turner is found to be having sex with either dogs or cats - I don't know. I just remember getting the clip sent to me in an e-mail about a year and half ago and I was rolling - whenever I was having a bad day I would click on that sucker and instantly I would be dying - Sploosh, Sploosh! The look on the Kool-Aid man's face was so freaking hysterical. That one bit completely turned me on to the show and now I don't miss an episode on reruns.
Personally - my favorite episode is the one FOX wouldn't let them air about Peter trying to convert his son to Judaism - I have never seen something so outrageous and ridiculous and hysterically offensive on TV. The one where he creates his own country is priceless also.
I just hope they are able to bring the same writers back - I know Ricky Blitt was a huge contributor and since then he has become a really hot writer out here - it'll be interesting to see if he comes back as exec. producer or writer.

Doesn't he see Optimus Prime at a bar mitzvah or something in that one? I only saw it once and I was slightly inebriated at the time.

the episode where peter finds out his son's has a bigger dick than he does is hilarious. that koolaid man was probably the funniest scene in the first season. favorite character has to be brian, he is hilarious cause he has more common sense than the entire family.
