Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

ABC's t.v. show extreme makover home edition is accepting applications in the phoenix area for needy families going through difficult times. Don't know if anyone watches the show but they do get to be pretty generous in fixing up homes. Good Luck folks!

OH MY GOSH I LOVE THIS SHOW!!

I watched it on Sunday and it made me CRY!!

I was sobbing with happy tears - This family of 9 got a brand new house. 4 boys, 4 girls and the dad (the mom passed away). It was sooo good!!

The real reason 32 cried was because the family were huge basketball fans and so they constructed a dinning room table to look like a court....my wife cried too.

The way they were going I thought they were going to build an indoor court...did that idea get scrapped?

We all thought that was their plan, too.. so I guess the 2 story gym was plan B.

Nice house regardless!! And they still have that hoop in the front of the house on the street!

Makes me wonder if they're doing two houses at once this week. My Uncle's friend is working on a house in Scottsdale, for the show, to be started today and finished by the end of the week also.

My wife and I love the show and the "How'd they do that?" show on Mondays also, but we've always been a fan of shows like this: Trading Spaces, While You Were Out, Clean Sweep, etc.

That guy Ty is starting to get on my nerves. I used to be okayu with him, now I'm less so...seems to me he's getting sorta full of himself.

mmmmmm, Ty. He's hot! But I'd shove that bullhorn up his ass if he yelled in my ear like that! Love that show. Seems like very deserving peeps. Great family TV.

Turns out it's the project my Uncle's friend is working on. Everyone was told Scottsdale, so nobody would know where the work was being done ahead of time, but one of the people from the show slipped up and said Gilbert, so it made the papers, etc.

This episode should be great because the family went to Tucson to revamp the children's wing of the hospital there, and they'll come home to a huge new house.

According to my Uncle's friend, the Suns dancers were there today too. He called his wife and said he might have to stick around even once his shift was done.
