I think so, too. He's good.
How are the ratings for the show? Hopefully it wouldn't get cancelled simply because the politics of the network change.

The ratings are not good. That's why having someone in the CEO's seat that has a personal stake in the show was critical. If FOX went solely on ratings, "Arrested Development" wouldn't have been back for this season.

Not sure. I know they cut the season order from 22 to 18, and will be done by the end of April with new episodes.
(For those that watch the show, Sunday night's show that dealt with problems for the Bluth Company because of a housing order being cut from 22 to 18 houses was a direct reference to this.....)

Could the move from the top florr to a less expensive floor be a call to change the night and time?

Probably. Did you notice the Bush style "Mission Accomplished" banner on the third floor??

Actually, don't have time to tell. Gotta run errands....
Tell ya later if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

Arrested Development's Fate?
Here's a question for those in the know: If FOX cancels Arrested Development, can another network snatch it up? And if so, why wouldn't they? It has a wildly devoted following and something as simple as a timeslot change could really make a difference, right?

I think the fact that this thread almost fell to the bottom of the page should answer your question on the popularity of that show.

New season starts Sep. 19. Some of the stars of the show were on a recent episode of Celebrity Poker and after he introduced them Dave Foley made a comment about the show nad Jason Bateman made a joke about how he thought they were cancelled.
In response toe the earlier post about if another network could pick it up, I had had heard Comedy Central wanted to pick it up if FOX dropped it.
