My company hires one of the camera men from the show as video director when he's available.
He has great stories from their travels. He won't give up any info regarding winners or anything, he would lose his job.
I am on a show with him in about two weeks. I'll see what I can find out about #8, they just got done filming.

Great start to the show. Of course Rob and Amber are the targets - they have some fame already, and more importantly, have already won the big bucks.

Lots of good teams to root for so far - only one team is giving me bad vibes - Ray and Deanna - Ray looks like another Jonathan.

Ray does appear to be this show's nutjob.

anybody else get the impression Rob wasn't taking it seriously at all until about midway through the show? I think he's so used to being "Rob from Survivor" that it took him awhile to realize they weren't paying him to just be himself he actually had to compete. I didn't sense that with Amber but it seemed to me for awhile there he just was coasting. I hope they stick around he's funny and she's a hottie.

So this has to be some sort of reality show record, they have 3 openly gay men and 2 possibly gay women.

Not that there's anything wrong with that!

personally I'd like to think they pick applicants based on who they think will compete well on the show, and make for good tv. But it does seem they have a formula of old couple, black couple, models, gay couple that they stick to pretty religously which in my mind makes the show less "real".

Except of course for the models I completely support that type casting.
