October Road ran for two seasons on ABC.
- Not that great, but good enough for me to download and watch at work.
Women's Murder Club ran for one season on ABC.
- watched one episode. It was okay, but somewhat boring.
"Cavemen" aired just eight episodes on ABC.
- absolutely terrible
Big Shots" ran just one season on ABC.
- even worse than Cavemen if that is possible
"Miss Guided" aired just seven episodes on ABC.
- struggled through first episode. Didn't watch any more
"Jericho" ran for two seasons on CBS.
- Only thing on the list that I'll really miss
"Shark" ran for two seasons on CBS.
- I really enjoyed the pilot. Didn't keep watching because my internet connection that year charged per MB downloaded.
"Moonlight" ran just one season on CBS.
- I liked this show. It was good but not great.
"K-Ville" ran just one season on FOX.
- Was okay, but I stopped watching after I got behind a few episodes.
"New Amsterdam" aired just eight episodes on FOX.
- I liked this show
"Aliens in America" ran just one season on The CW.
- It was okay. I wanted to like this show but it didn't hold my interest.
"Las Vegas" ran for five seasons on NBC.
- mindless guilty pleasure for a few years. I stopped watching after I had to pay per MB downloaded and never got caught back up.
"The Bionic Woman" aired just eight episodes on NBC.
- terrible
"Journeyman" ran just one season on NBC.
- Watched three or four episodes. Not good enough to hold my interest.
"quarterlife" aired just one episode on NBC.
- couldn't finish watching first episode

Is Sam the one with the mustache or the one with the crooked, scary looking eyes?

That one seems interestng.
Darin Morgan was a consultant, so I gave it a hearty attempt. Just couldn't get into the sister drama. Got the feeling they weren't trying to make a good show ... just trying to ride on Heroes and capture a certain demographic. So they had the teenage sister doing a lot of pouting and adding pressure to big sis/guardian BW who was busy secretely saving the world. I suspect if they had just hired Morgan as the showrunner, it had potential. It wasn't poorly done ... just not enough zest in the storylines, which underscored how campy the whole thing was.

I watched the show. Hence knowing one girl had a 'stache and the crooked, scary eyed chick could be the stuntwoman for the Walk Like an Epyptian vid.

Maybe just my preferences but Mary was worth the price of admission.

I watched part of one episode of Shark and part of one episode of Journeyman, and that's it.

I haven't even heard of many of those shows.

Why are they canceling Beauty and the Geek? I liked that show.

I liked the premise of Moonlight, but the writing was weak. Isn't there a vampire show coming to HBO?

Also, how much would it suck to get cancelled after 1 episode?

Cool, I hadn't heard about this. Coming in September. Written by Alan Ball (American Beauty) and staring Anna Paquin. I'll be looking forward to this.

I never watched any of those shows. Of course, in my mind, that's why they were canceled.

I watched October Road, but only because it started during the summer when there was nothing else and then if I remember correctly it played for awhile during the strike when there was nothing else. I didn't expect it to last.

I also watched Moonlight. I thought it was a pretty weak show overall, but it gave me something to watch in the mornings with my attendants.

Miss guided was actually pretty funny, but it never had much of a chance. The first episode of cavemen was horrible. For some reason I watched episode 2, and I thought it was actually pretty funny. There was one episode I thought was very funny. That said, I knew it would not make it.

I watched Back to You. It was really weak. I almost felt bad for Patricia Heaton and Kelsey Grammer because I do like both of them. The show just sucked.

Anybody seen the list of summer shows? When do rescue me and the Shield comeback?

Joe

The Shield is back September 2. Rescue me won't be back until March 2009.
