It got me to thinking. Was it the 1st president? So I googled him. And sure enough.

Dennis Haysbert........

Pretty happy he's coming back now!! He's great.

Anyone else think the daughter killing herself was a weak plot trick that made no sense??

First of all, NO OTHER PATIENT was in that facility. They had several doctors and nurses, but everyone was too busy to watch the director's daughter?

Hey, usually the Boss gets special priority treatment. The daughter could have been Linda Blair in the Excorcist and they wouldn't have called the director once and disturbed her during the biggest national emergency in history. Let alone calling her every 5 minutes! Plus as soon as the daughter was found dead, heads would have rolled!

Also, you have a facility used to torturing people to get information out of them. You think bed restraints would have been too much? They restrain people at my local hospital all the time. I love 24, but the daughter dying was weak.

Especially after the director told the main systems analyst to buck up after his mom died. That type of person wouldn't have walked out of CTU!

I like the cliffhanger this week, but I couldn't keep myself from laughing hysterically.

wow - good show again last night. just when tony seems to be getting back on track, it looks like he's going to be knocked down a peg or two - hope he doesn't lose his confidence over it - such a great character on the show.

now jack has to come to the rescue of paul? too funny, when just over an hour ago he was beating the crap out of him. this show is a never-ending series of twists and turns. i really had low expectations for this season, thinking that they couldn't keep up the plots - but it has been a very welcomed surprise - probably the best season so far imo.

They would never do it, but what if Jack got his head lopped off like the other middle east hostages? Noone would believe it happening, until they did it. Up until the last moment, deep down, you'd think, someone is going to rescue him, or at the very least, he will go commando on the captors and survive. Think about the ratings furor if the decapitated him on this show. Fox would ignite a firestorm of controversy.

Then Tony, and that new black assistant director would have to save America.

that could be interesting probably would get fined by the FCC if they showed it but it would be pretty funny too...see his his head stairing at the camera...and then Tony says what do we do now?

Yeah, basically everyone at CTU waits around to hear from Jack before doing anything. If Jack was gone, they would spend two hours trying to figure what the heck to do!
