Heroes is the popular choice. Good show, but better than Lost? I don't think so. It's not like it ran out of steam the last few weeks, right? Right?

Totally agree here. Heroes had more puff than punch. Lost kicked butt. Also don't get why Michael Emerson ("Ben") got the supporting actor nomination over, say, Josh Holloway ("Sawyer"), but I'm happy to see Terry O'Quinn ("Locke") is in there. I'm guessing Michael Imperioli takes that category, though.

This was me for 14 years, and then I got married ...

My wife's only "main room" TV concession is during college football season. She knows she'll never see me if she doesn't give me the remote on those Saturdays. Other than that, if I want to watch TV on the sofa, those four channels aren't allowed in our mix.

Ugh, such a travesty.

The Office gets nothing? At least 30 Rock won, but Ugly Betty was favored and that's an absolute joke.

How does Boston Legal get in over Lost or Battlestar Galactica?

America Fererra wins over Tina Fey, ugh.

Jamie Pressley over Jenna Fischer? Blah...

These award shows are so aweful.

She deserves it...Ugly Betty is a great show. Unapologetic in its camp.

Did Kiefer Sutherland win for 24? Why wasn't Prison Break nominated?

Ugh...maybe SHE does...but the show itself...no. Not over Entourage, 30 Rock or The Office. Glad it didn't win...

But the PILOT of Ugly Betty won for it's writing over The Office Gay Witch Hunt and others.

I watched the Pilot. It was average at best.

Yeah, she does deserve it...but the Office should have easily won writing. The Pilot of betty wasn't all that good...it didn't even hit its stride as a show until the middle of the season with Rebecca Romijn.

Jamie Pressley's character Joy is much better than Jenna Fischer's character Pam.

I think The Office is the best comedy on tv, but My Name is Earl would not be as successful without Joy.

The Office could live without Pam.

On that note, the Emmy's were terrible.

I disagree, but oh well. Jim and Pam were the reason the second season was so great.
