BTW, Joe.... Don't forget that she never made a single decision.... not one.... concerning the Guard.
Great military experience.

You'll get called a liar so here's the proof that his woman did nothing with the Alaska Guard.

I guess the next opportunity she would have is if someone attacked Alaska....................................christ, this isn't going to happen.
Last year, during Palin's first year as governor, there wasn't much action, Zidek said. "Thankfully we didn't have any major disasters."
God dammit can't we get some sort of disaster going here? What the hell is up with this whole nothing happened crap.
Palin must suck since she can't just make up emergencies.
I guess by this reasoning the only qualified governor is that nut case from Louisana. And yet Obama passed on him. What the heck was he thinking?

Nice spin.
I guess you missed the interview with McCains spokesman claiming she did direct them when they went to Iraq. That and they keep using the Alaska Guard as proof to her "foreign expirence" (that obviously makes no sense). The other part is she turned over all decisions to others so she didn't even "lead" them when the did do anything in Alaska.

Maybe you have, but fwiw, I have yet to hear McCain or Palin reference the Guard as a basis for her foreign experience... Lord knows, she could have in her speech at the RNC, but she didn't...

As for Wright vs AIP, I really don't see them in the same light...
Wright was Obama's admitted "spiritual leader". He baptized Obama's kids. And Obama spent 20 years in Trinity!
Palin herself was never a member of AIP (contrary to what was pushed on this board). Her husband was with them for 8 years. Should that cause us to want to know how that impacts Palin's views? Of course. But no way does this compare to Wright...

...quoted Wright's speech in his book... about "white man's greed".

You've then missed the interviews with his spokesman. LINK
McCain, starts talking about it at about the 3 1/2 minute mark. LINK

I haven't seen either one say it (actually, just watched the link Klod linked) but I saw McCain's campaign manager do it on CNN. The ensuing back and forth between him and the reporter is what made McCain cancel his appearance on Larry King the next night. It's not something they should really be touting considering her other strengths.

Hey Joe, you like research.. how many times has McCain voted "present"? I stopped counting at 350+ from 96-2008. So Obama has 130 in four years, McCain averaged 120+ every four years. (They didn't have the records available online for his votes prior to that).

that being said, if anyone in the campaign tried to play that card, i'd ridicule them to kingdom come.
