Day 1: Explain who Palin is.
Day 2: Explain who is Palin.
Day 3: Why is a Palin/McCain ticket better than Obama/Biden.
Day 4: McCain attacks Obama.

It's going to be very interesting how the GOP tailors their convention to rebut the DNC. I'm looking forward to it.

I would hope it doesn't. I don't think these conventions should be attack or counterpoint vehicles. They ought to be a proclamation of what they stand for.

JMHO

That's what I'm looking for from the GOP--we've heard a lot from them that Obama is just selling ideas, but we haven't heard a whole lot of ideas from the GOP. I'm hoping we hear some of them as well as some inspiration (which I think may be hard to pull off since it's the GOP that's been guiding the ship the past 8 years and we're not in such great shape.

Remember what Obama said, if you don't have any ideas, you just attack the other guy. McCain's been doing a LOT of attacking for a guy that wants to run a clean and fair election.

McCain has no interest in a clean and fair election. McCain does have an interest in getting elected President.

Every politician says that. Actions speak louder than words.

All I did was express a hope for the GOP, why come back with a shot at the Republicans?

Why not give them a fair shot at their own convention? Listen to them and see if they indeed do have any good things to say. I suspect some of what they propose will be good, just as I suspect you'll denounce 100% of it.

That's why people should start bitching about it before it happens?

Obama isn't immune to attacking McCain either.

He's not a saint. He has more, and better, ideas than McCain...but he's done his share of attacking as well.

Never said he didn't as somebody here said, it works.

If he doesn't attack back and lets McCain have a free ride then he loses. Profess to hate negative campaigning but that is all they really listen to
