The Official Palin Sports & Politics Mixed Quote Thread

I am shocked there wasn't much made of the cringeworthy attempt by Palin during last week's debate to stuff cliches into a sentence, mixing sports and political famous quotes. Even Tina Fey didn't touch on it and I was sure she would..

Quote:
Say it ain't so Joe, there you go again...
So in honor of that really bad moment, let's submit our best Palin-inspired "mix the sports and politics quotes" contest.

"On any given Sunday, it is morning in America."

"90 percent of voting with Bush is half mental."

"The only thing to fear is giving 110 percent itself."

Let 'em rip!

"Now if you wanna crown them, then crown their ass! At least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you..."

(okay, it's two full quotes, but I couldn't resist)

That's perfectly within the rules. Sarah's quote was two complete quotes.

Say it ain't so, Joe (to Shoeless Joe Jackson) and "There you go again" from Reagan to Jimmy Carter.

I expect the Suns franchise record for three point attempts to be broken by Hedo this season!

Sarah Palin: Well, heck, if you wanna play games here! I'm workin' with ya on this thing, but I... Okay, I'll do a damned interview!
Katie Couric: Right now?
Sarah Palin: Sure, right now! You're darned tootin'!

Not within the rules, unless "about 100 points IQ" is a sports quote.

Fail.

One Heartbeat is definitely relevant.

The second quote has the word games in it.

I submit they qualify.

I don't know wtf you are talking about in the first one. Please explain.

I just realized what you did with "One Heartbeat" though, and that is downright clever. A+!!

The word "games" is not a sports quote.

It is a "mix the sports and politics quotes" contest, not a "mix sports and politics" quote contest.

Again, "One Heartbeat" and its double meaning is spectacular.
