Subtle racial slur from McCain supporter, Tom Ridge?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20080812...amarepublicans

"At a "town hall" meeting in York, Pennsylvania, McCain was introduced by both Lieberman and the state's former governor Tom Ridge.

Ridge, who was also formerly chief of homeland security, said: "There are a lot of Democrats and independent voters who are going to vote for John McCain, we know that for a fact. America is desperate for leadership.

"When you pick up the newspapers and look at the maps, there are red (Republican) states and blue (Democratic) states. But we need a president who is red, white and blue," he said."

Inadvertent, subliminal slip up, I'm sure...

No, unless he emphasized it like it shows in the post, which I highly doubt he did.

No need to look for racism under every bed. In fact, that is part of the problem.

Yeah, no racism here, unless the American colors themselves are racist in nature (personally I think the blue people get too many perks in this country).

It is probably an attack on Obama's "Americanism", though. Him being the Hawaiian born Indonesian raised, weird named dude and all. Not from a wholesome American location like Panama...oh wait. Darn

It's basically what I've heard Obama say..."I don't want to be president of the blue states of america. I don't want to be president of the red states of america. I want to be president of the united states of america."

Shockingly, he just said it a lot better.

Of course he would never make such an overt statement by putting emphasis on the word "white". That's why it's called "subliminal."

"Mr Se7en, what you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response, were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

Not racist, jut McCain camp using the tactics Hillary refused to stoop to: Paint Obama as not a "True Amercian."

McCain is running the lowest form of campaign...
