IMO, only Obama and Edwards (in either permutation) are possible as a Pres/Veep ticket. Hill won't take on either with her nor would she take a backseat to either....

I'm not sure I agree.. she would be the first female VP. It could also create a better chance for her to run again in the future. I'm pretty sure if Obama asked her to join his run (should he win), she would heavily concider it and should.

Wasn't there some promise a while back by either Obama or Clinton saying he or she wouldn't accept the VP job if offered by the other?

Oh yeah, that's right... politicians never go back on their word.
I do recall something being said, but I'm sure they'd be able to "clarify" their statement.
