I'm sure this is an old topic but I couldn't find it. This was totally missed on my radar.

Now before anyone accuses me of allowing a liar to pander lies, some equal time:
Peter F. Paul was a Miami attorney who in 1979 was found guilty of committing $9 million of fraud on the Cuban gov't by selling coffee beans that didn't exist. During that investigation he was also charged with intent to defraud an insurance company (part of the Cuban scam) and had enough cocaine to be charged with intent to distribute. In 1983 he was convicted in Canada of using the identity of a dead man.
No doubt, any claims made by Paul are spurious in nature, but spurious claims can always be proven or disproven by the facts. These seem to stick. I'm a little more concerned by the whore-like nature of the Clinton fundraising machine ... that's a little more condemning than a politician being taken in by a con man, if that were the case.
Probably the most disturbing to me is a kind and gentle man like Stan Lee is business partners with a man like Paul, but I suppose there's something to be said about familiarity, which I have none.
