Michigan GOP Leader Wants Paul Banned
Saul Anuzis is upset with Paul for remarks that suggested the September-eleventh attacks were the fault of U.S. foreign policy.
Paul drew attacks from all sides at Tuesday night's Republican debate. The harshest criticism came from former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani when Paul linked the terror attacks to U.S. military action against Iraq.
Anuzis says he'll circulate a petition among Republican National Committee members to ban Paul from more debates. He'll also ask debate sponsors and broadcasters to exclude Paul.

Apparently MIGOP is being overrun with messages today.

Jeff Frazee/Posted May 17th, 2007 by Jeff Frazee
I just spoke with a friend who knows the people who work in the Michigan GOP office. He said the office “can’t handle the volume” and “don’t know what to do”. Saul Anuzis’s blackberry is flooded with messages, his voicemail is already full, and Ron Paul supporters are starting to find new phone numbers to reach him.
They are totally freaked out. He told me “they decided to stop answering the phones for the rest of the day because right when they hung up with one Ron Paul supporter the phone started to ring with the next. They couldn’t get any work done”. And “Saul has turned off his blackberry because he couldn’t handle the overload”.
He kept telling me how surprised they were at the amount of people calling and emailing. They didn’t know what was going on or who was behind it all. Total shock.
Let’s not let this one die. More phone calls and messages tomorrow. Keep the discussion going at the Facebook group.

That's stupid. Let him make a fool out of himself all he wants.

Yea, Republican candidates can dissent on abortion, gun rights, taxes, entitlements, or immigration but never on foreign policy.
That will get you banned from the party.

Before that, Rudy should probably read the 9/11 Commission report so he doesn't look so ignorant next time.
BTW, I think Rudy just elevated Paul from "who?" to "hmmm." And that's a good thing for an unknown. With the way the MSM is treating Paul, he's gonna get a TON of attention now despite their attempts to hold him down. Maybe he should be paying Rudy.

I think in the eyes of conservatives, Paul went from "Interesting" to "Ewwwwwwww". In the eyes of the liberals, he went from "Idiot" to "Useful idiot". If you're a republican and you sound like Dennis Kucinich and Ralph Nader... there is SOMETHING wrong.

In fact it is Rudy that looks like the idiot.
Either Mr. 9/11 doesn't know what is in the report or he is a lying demagogue.
How conservatives could think of supporting a gun grabbing, pro-abortion, tax raising, married 3 times, cross dresser is completely beyond my ability to comprehend.

In the eyes of conservatives, Paul is a great candidate.
In the eyes of the neocon branch of conservatism, and the big spending conservatives, he is scary.

Amen brother man.
Amen.
For the first time in my life, I feel hope from a candidate.
Finally, someone who is not wrapped up in a "party" line.
Ron Paul in 2008.
