Bad week indeed. Looks like it's "Palin/McCain Administration" now...

didn't she twice refer to him as "her running mate" as well? I don't blame her, she might as well be the defacto President because it seems like she's the bigger draw than Johnny Mac at this point. hell, this became her TICKET the second she was nominated. Even on the night McCain accepted the nomination for President, did anyone realize right after the speech they pumped in the song "Barricuda"?

just a very very weird election all the way around this year.

that's what I was posting yesterday on another thread. I don't know how this is going to play out for him. My initial reaction was that it wouldn't work for him in the long run.

Actually, I want to know if it's true that small business empoys most Americans? Is small business determined by number of employees or by revenue?

Apparently the Wall Street Journal put a beatdown on him regarding his Fed Chairman comments

You're exactly right. If McCain wins, he seriously needs to make a freaking shrine for Sarah Palin. I wonder if Obama didn't choose Hillary for that very reason- not wanting to be overshadowed by his VP? I understand that it's not the ONLY reason, or even the main reason, but I really wonder if it played a part in his decision.

of corse it played a roll IMO. If he chose hillary he would have been a shoe in barring a complete catostrophic event. But that's were I think integrity plays a role. is obama doing this to get elected at all costs? maybe he is of corse....but if that were totally the case it would have been easy for him to make sure hillary was on the ticket. However, he went with the person who was best fit for the job. Biden is a guy who has a lot of experience in washington(can be good and bad, but not completely bad). and if there is anything obama lacks it is experience. If obama chose a palin type candidate he would have severely damaged his campaign. Biden is a guy who will help obama. he won't completely undermine him or overtake him. but he won't be fearful to speak his mind and stand up against obama when the time is right. he has already proven that. So obama didn't pick a yes man....or a good ol' boy so to speak. this is a guy who ran against obama and has spoken out against him when in disagreement. that's a good thing for president to have underneath him essentially holding him/her accountable. will palin do that for mccain. Right now i don't know what to think about the whole situation. the election is more of a circus right now IMO. Obama needs to get to the issues and off the attack trail(that's not what got him here necessarily) as well because he is participating in the whole circus type atmosphere.

I honestly don't think Hillary wanted it..... They don't get along all that great. That being said, if Obama wins, you can expect Hillary to be the Senate Majority Leader... That's the deal, methinks....
