I dont see anything wrong with tearing up. She loves the USA and is trying (in her view) to help our country and all she gets are questions about Hair and Pearls. No man would get those stupid questions.

Mind you, I am voting for Obama, but I see it as a non issue.

If you listen to what she said, why is it wrong for her to get emotional about duty and devotion to country, but it is ok for some tough solider to do it (in the stereotypical hollywood scenario)?

Heck, my biggest issue with her has always been the robotic persona...I like a little passion in my politicians (assuming it is for service to country vs other things (Bill!!)).

I am currently one of those undecided Dem voters, and am leaning strongly to Obama for a variety of reasons (both logical and starstruck).

However, I think Hillary has done a good job lately communicating in human, personable terms why she is running and what she would do if elected. I think the challenge of Obama is forcing her to come into her own (out from Bill's shadow) as a leader. Even if she loses, this will be a good thing. She is a whip smart, experienced, strong woman and can do a lot of good for this country even if not President. It's why the Republican party hates her so much. (ducks flames shooting my way now...)

Oh, and watch the video clip before you judge - don't just read the press accounts.

Yeah, it's pretty lame to be influenced or outraged over something like this.

Agreed. The press is overblowing it too. Watch a clip of it. She's not crying. Not bawling. She is clearly tired and got a little choked up when talking about why she is going through all of this...because *gasp* she actually gives a #%*t about this country and it's future.

Shocking idea that someone could be passionate about that topic.

Sad that it will be used as negative fodder by right-wing bashers, who do not see the utter irony in their attacks on someone for this topic.

It probably should be a non-issue, but I also agree with a-bomb. It's going to do her in.

Hmmm - I don't get the logic on that. You think it will be spun as her being too weak to lead or something?

She lost it on TV. It was minor I agree. But a presidential candidate shouldnt lose it in public. Whether you agree or not this is going to hurt her and many people will view it as weakness.

I think its great. Just pushes her further outa the way.

As a cynical member of the MSM, y'all have a lot of convincing to do to change my mind that it wasn't a highly calculated move to gain the female vote.

Not too weak, but too emotional. But, I don't know that it'll be spun that way, rather simply perceived that way.

Remember, she's already fighting an uphill battle because she's a woman. Now, she's added fuel to that fire.

Don't get me wrong - I think Obama has so much mojo going right now (and for darn good reason) that Hillary is razor close to losing the nomination.

I just don't think she will lose because of something like this. Dem primary voters are not going to reject her candidacy for this kind of thing. They have thought long and hard about this election...it's not about trivial stuff.

It will be because Obama won, not that she lost it in some kind of Howard Dean 'scream' way.

I would bet almost anyone who feels that way wasn't going to vote for her anyway.
