Here is the thing. DCR's post rating system is really just a another way of posting a

. I think DCR even has a smilie equivalent for each step of the 1-5 on the 5/5 scale.
Personally, I only use to it communicate how funny I think a post is.
No big deal. If it offends, sorry.
