Never thought I'd say this, but I was actually impressed by Keith on the MSNBC coverage. Chris Matthews was interviewing an Obama supporter, and asked the Obama supporter to name a piece of legislation that Obama had sponsered / passed / done something with.
After the interview ended (this is the election coverage, not Hardball), Keith said (getting it as close as I can here...)
"In Senator Obama's defense, can you name one thing that the Senate has done over the last 7 years?"
Matthews couldn't, and went on to say that wasn't his job, but it was the job of an Obama supporter to be able to point out specifics. Keith agreed, and Matthews said that that was why it's called "Hardball".
To which Keith replied: "Yes, but this is election coverage, not Hardball."
Chris: "True, but we have to do something to pass the time."

When in sweet gee-a-zuz's name is the world going to recognize that Matthews is a partisan, rude, two-faced chunk of doody with legs. Thanks, Keith, for b-slapping him.

It was the proverbial on-air b-slab by Keith - funny, yet carried the subtle undertone of "Don't be a dick, Dick."
