my point, since it apparently wasn't as obvious as i thought it would be, was to get an informal idea of who the possible 2 candidates would be. we could then take the top two and have a vote off between them.
if that isn't enough reason, here's another one. i said:
you can't be registered as both.
You're baiting me aren't you. You know I can't resist voting in both now.

The right of independents to vote in primaries is a state law as opposed to federal law. Arizona has a specific statute regarding registered independents' rights to vote in a primary. I don't know what the other states' laws are but in Arizona this is the law.
yeah...my question is "since when"? When did they change it?

You should have known you can't do anything serious around here.
I would vote Obama, but I'm a registered Independent.
Jenna says you can vote in one of the two primaries for the purposes of this poll. So if you haven't voted in the Republican one yet, you can vote here.

I'm an independent, but voted for Edwards under the JennaPrimary Rules.
I don't understand why Edwards doesn't get more attention from the middle--the guy has fairly concrete ideas (relatively so) for a candidate, and address what much of the nation believes, IMO...namely, universal health care and getting out of Iraq in an orderly fashion.
