Hmm, everyone seems to like my thread better. Is this what it is like to be Hillary Clinton? Big early lead, but now everyone else is getting the thunder?

The A.S.F.N. 2008 Presidential campaigning went full swing today.

What began as a whisper over the loss of a valued speech writer quickly grew into a roar as rumors concerning one of the favorites spread. D-Dogg, the leading candidate according to a recent member’s poll, is struggling to explain himself as word rapidly spread that he not only supports The Los Angeles Lakers, but he’s fascinated with Kobe Bryant. Calls to his office and staff have not been returned.

“He’s one of them Laker lovin’ goofballs?” realized one member in disbelief. “Jeez, I always thought he was a stand up fella, guess you never really know anybody.”

Enter Pariah who today announced both his exploratory committee and candidacy. He may have stumbled out of the gate by making the rookie mistake of failing to announce in his own thread, but with the shape of D-Dogg’s camp anything can happen. This election is in full swing and each of the candidates is just waiting to pounce on the others.
That is freaking awesome. Needs its own thread though, the news thread.

So based on your idea of the future Mr. Dogg, my children are to end up in porn under your administration? Are we to expect such atrocitites to be commonplace in your "throw panties to the wind" administration?

P.S. Booze is great for this forum.

We should hold an election each year and the winner is President. Not that the position has any power, just for fun. If you think your popular enough, run. We could have a primary and weed out the candidates who wouldn't win. I'm just saying...

I started a news thread.

I don't think its a bad idea. Hell. I spent more time on here tonight than I do most nights. I enjoy the arguments and personal abuse. The President shoudl get bragging rights at least. Campaigning is the fun part.
