Pretty interesting debate. There were a lot of good/funny questions. From all of the focus group results I have seen, Barak won the debate.

CNN let through a stupid question about reparations. Kucinich was the only candidate who supported it. After the debate they showed results from the focus groups. They were able to rate the questions and responses in real time with a dial. Every time Barak spoke the dial would get turned way up. When the reparations question was asked the dial plummeted, this from a moderate to liberal focus group.

I actually think Biden "won" the debate... Hilary is... well... she's just Hilarious... Edwards is the prototypical snake-oil salesman... And it's funny to me that people always rag on Bush regarding the way he speaks, yet to Obama is incredibly annoying! Is that a stutter he has or simply a nervous disorder?? Geez....
He actually seems like a guy who's got some solid ideas, and appears to be a fairly grounded and thoughtful man. However, on global/international issues, he seems quite raw and inexperienced next to Clinton and Biden...
My hunch however is that the Demo ticket will surface as Obama/Clinton - you can choose who you prefer "on top"!

I really think Biden comes off as a fake. Everything he says contradicts his voting record.

As for your Obama/Clinton ticket. No way Hillary agrees to run as a VP

The very end of this clip shows a back shot of all of the candidates. Hillary is standing on a box to make her taller. I find that mildly amusing and somewhat pathetic(not her being short). I think Kucinich has needed a booster as well in the past. To be fair, I think it was dumb when cameras zoomed in closer to President Bush when he debated Kerry to compensate for their height differences. Too much smoke and mirrors in these debates.

I think an Obama/Biden ticket would be very, very strong. Biden is great on foreign issues...Obama needs that to shore up his weak spots.

I could vote for that ticket if the repubs put up some asshats against them, even though they don't really align with my views they are a better package than say a Rudy and Puppet.

If Obama & Biden would swear on the BIBLE to not raise taxes, to not create more protectionism - I would consider that ticket.

The world is changing at record level warp speed - economically... We need to continue to open new free trade markets. We need to continue to spread capitalism and pro growth initiatives wherever we can. The Dems seem not to understand these concepts and it's a big enough issue to prevent me from considering an Obama/Biden ticket, as appealing as it may appear...

All that and only consider?? You aren't voting Democrat no matter what. You may as well admit it

As far as these debates, Hillary only pushed me away farther with her statement about absolutely not meeting with our enemy foreign leaders. It only convinced me that a vote for Hillary is a vote for the status quo.

She said that? Yeesh, Hillary. Was she talking about AQ leaders or North Korea/Iran?

I watched it last night on the almighty cspan. I thought Obama did great. Hillary stunned me with her refusal to talk with other countries. (Of course, I'm not a big Hillary fan anyway) but that answer was bizarre. I thought John Edwards did okay. Overall, I think Hillary and Barack did the best and it could be the dem ticket. Lot's of time left, though.

How about the lack of time for Gravel and my angry little elf, Dennis Kucinich. How about Biden's remark to Kucinich: "I like your wife". I thought that was funny.

I will be. (Hopefully not Hilary) I don't think that the Republican party is heading in the right direction.

There's this one idea that's been around for a long, long time. What is it again?

Oh yeah, cutting spending like a mad banshee. That's it.

It never ceases to amaze me how so many people are so understanding of managing their own money and personal bank account/deficit but willing to give government a free pass to be absolute idiots in that regard. If you ran up a monster deficit in your home, would you go begging for an undeserved raise or would you slash your spending, work on your budget and fix your problem? But since the government can IMPOSE a mandatory raise for their coffers, that's the easy way out. Instead, they need to Dave Ramsey it (and I am not even a disciple of the guy).
